Hello!
I have a question about non-standard use of SN75ALS191 and similar RS422 line drivers from TI:
1). Is it legal if both differential outputs are AC-coupled ?
2). Is it legal if both differential outputs are AC-coupled and the negative output is connected to ground ( via a capacitor )? Will this or will it not adversely affect the signal being transmitted on the positive output?
Sergei,
1) Outputs can be AC coupled.
2) Why is Z output AC coupled to ground? Y & Z output are independent (not adversely affected).
Can you draw a load schematic?
