Dear Specialist

My customer is looking for ESD protection device for CAN tranceiver.

They are considering NXP of PESD1CAN and PESD2CAN for CAN.

Do you have any recommend device?

I want to change to TI.

Also they are required reference circuit. Because they are first consideration for adding ESD, so they want to confirm.

At this time we do not have any devices with high enough breakdown voltages to be comparable with these devices. Our nearest device is TPD2E007 in DCK package. It's maximum working voltage is 13.5V. If that is acceptable to the CAN designer, then it is a better choice due to the lower clamping voltages when compared to a 24V (as in PESD1CAN or PESD2CAN).
