What is the optical interface module referred to on page 5 of the data sheet for the TLK1501?  It is in the description for DINRXN and DINRXP.

Is this a part that we sell?

    Stephen,

     

    The module refers to either an optical modules such as an SFP module or its electrical equivalent.  

    Typically these type of serdes interface to optical modules to drive serial data between two distant points over fiber optic cable.  

     

    TI does not sell optical modules. 

    Companies such as Avago and Finisar make these.
