When I change TLK105 to TLK105L. It can not 10/100BSET-T auto-negotiation. I have to disable auto-negotiation to achieve 100BASE-T/10BASE-T. But TLK105 don;t have this issue. Do you know why?

How was the change made? Is this a new board?
How is the link tested? What is the link partner on the other end of the cable?
Patrick
Hi, Patrick
I used same board.
I test link by using switch connect to TLK105L. On other end is Marvell 88E6083.
This is unusual. I would not expect this.
Could you provide a schematic of your board? If you are uncomfortable posting this to the forum, I can provide an email address so that you can sent it directly.
Would it be possible to probe some of the signals? Do you have an oscilloscope for looking at some of the signaling from the TLK device?
Patrick
Hi, Patrick,
What's signals do you need ? We have oscilloscope on hand. I will post schematic later.
Finally we found TLK105L was partly damaged when solding.
Anyway, thank for help Patrick
