Let me ask you a question about ISO7220A.

For example , Can I replace ISO7220 with HCPL-M611-560E(AVAGO Inc.) ?

What parameter should I compare ?

Pin compatible is not an important.

    Hi Noda-san,

    I think three important care-abouts should be:

    1. # of channels
    2. working voltage
    3. maximum speed

    The device Avago device you mentioned is a single channel, 560 Vpeak working voltage isolator, that can operate up to 10MBPS.

    If you go to www.ti.com/iso you can see all of our isolators. We have a few single channel devices (which are not pin to pin compatible) that have the same isolation working voltage channel count and can operate at least that speed.

    The ISO7220 that you mentioned is a dual channel isolator that has multiple speed grades (1MBPS, 5MBPS, 25MBPS and 150MBPS) which are denoted by the letter at the end of the part number.
