TLK105 - max consumption current

Hello,

Would you mind if we ask about TLK105?

We could not find out max consumpiton current of TLK current on the datasheet.
Please tell us max consumpiton current.

<Question2>
Our customer will use pulse trans which is HX2019FNLT(PULSE TRANS product).
Does it fit for TLK105?
Then if  you have any advice about pulse trans, please inform us.

    We have an application note with details on the variation of power consumption over different operational conditions.  It is available at:

    http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/snla089

    As you can see from the application note, the worst case power consumption in 100Base-TX operation is approximately 15% higher than the nominal power consumption.  The variation from nominal to maximum should be approximately the same, 15%. 

    I will follow up with the team regarding the HX2019FNLT transformer.  We will provide an update in a follow up post.

    Matsumoto-san,

    We do not have any experience using the HX2019FNLT transformer with the TLK105.  In reviewing the device characteristics, I compared them to the magnetics requirements shown in our design and layout guide:

    The insertion loss at high frequencies appears to be outside our recommended range.
