Date code for XIO2001IZGU

How do you interpret the date code on this BGA package?

I see a large number under the part number, for example $4A-28C4IQW. There is also a small circular stamp in the corner of the package and has 12F and under it Y32. Does that mean 2012, 32nd week of the year?

Hello,

So $4A-28C4IQW is assembled in 8^th month of year ending in 2, so August 2012. The lot code is actually 28C41QW

Thank you for the reply. However, how does this work with the same chips that have this marking:

$4A-9AAG1LW? It does not make sense with that numbering scheme.

Yes, we believe we are seeing a cold temp issue with a new set of lots with the code:

$4A-28C4IQW vs an older set of board that had the $4A-9AAGiLW on it.

We are still working on swapping parts on boards to track if there is a process issue or a lot issue.

However, to order more parts, we need to understand the date code on these parts.
