DS91C176TMA and DS90D176TMA - NRND

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS91D176, DS91C176

Hi Team,

A custome is wondering why are the DS91C176TMA and DS90D176TMA being listed as NRDND?

Which are the differences between the active parts  (DS91C176TMA/NOPB,  DS90D176TMA/NOPB) and the NRDND parts?

My last question is what are the differences between the C and D versions?

Thank you!!

Antony C.

  • Hi Antony,

The difference between the NRND version and the ACTIVE version is that the NRND is not Pb-Free. I believe this is why the DS91C176TMA and DS91CD176TMA are listed as NRND. Since a Green version of the device currently exists, we are pointing users towards the DS91C176TMA/NOPB and DS91D176TMA/NOPB.

The difference between the C and D version is listed on the front page of the datasheet:

"The DS91D176 has a M-LVDS type 1 receiver input with no offset. The DS91C176 has an M-LVDS type 2 receiver which enable failsafe functionality."

    Thanks,

    Michael
