DS90CF386 RxCLK OUT CURRENT LEVEL

Hi members.

This is BEN.
I have a question.

My customer RxCLK OUT is output 7mA always , Because it is current pull-down 470Ω.
※7mA=3.3V／470
Is not such as the 7mA problem?

I don't　search　the output current max level of datasheet.

Hi Ben,

Using a 470Ohms resistor at RXCLK Output should be fine.

If you refer to the optional section of the Evaluation Kit for the DS90CF385/386 (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/snlu032/snlu032.pdf, p. 15), you can see that we suggest a 450Ohm series resistor be added to the 50-ohm termination at the oscilloscope. This total of 500Ohms to GND is comparable to your customer's choice of 470Ohms.
