DS90CF366 aplication note

HI 

could anyone provide me the application note for DS90CF366 because i couldn't find it in TI website, also i have inquiry about LVDS Vcc,PLL Vcc and main Vcc pins, should i connect them all from the same power source?

because i tried to connect all Vcc pins to same power source also for GND pins( without connecting input diff input signals), but once i turned the power on the chip get over heated and i guess it is burned, so can anyone help with this.

    Hi Shadi,

    Is there a particular application note you are looking for? There are 5 app notes that are relevant to the DS90CF366 listed on the DS90CF366  landing page. One of particular interest may be "FPD-Link PCB and Interconnect Design-In Guidelines" (http://www.ti.com/lit/an/snla002/snla002.pdf).

    With regards to the power question, you should be able to supply the three VCC supplies from the same source. This can be referenced from the FLINK3V8BT-85 evaluation board schematics (http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/snlu032/snlu032.pdf) on p. 24-25:

    It is a bit hard for me to diagnose the root cause for why the IC appears to be overheating. Do you have a schematic that you can provide? Do you have bypass caps between the respective VCC and GND pins? I would advise comparing your current schematic and design with the FLINK3V8BT-85 schematic to see if there are noticeable key differences that will help debug the issue.

    thanks a lot for your help and sorry for my late reply, i tried to do as mentioned above exactly but actually i faced the same problem. now i'm not sure if the chips that i used is it already defected since i bought those chips from untrusted supplier, so i reordered chips from digikey and i hope that the problem will be solved.
