I am not sure if we have any PMP9351 units to share, but I will check on that.
As for the capabilities of ALP - it is essentially a GUI for reading and writing I2C commands to the device. It can't monitor the image data. It is useful for configuring registers and reading back statuses, as the register description information is displayed alongside the actual values.
I'm not sure what User's Guide you are referring to regarding the I2C peripheral device. It sounds like it is referring to a device which converts I2C to USB, so that a PC running ALP can talk to the serializer or deserializer. Something like an Aardvark I2C Debugger.

Unfortunately the PMP9351 is only a reference design - there are none available. The files are all available so that you could build one, or modify it however you need.
