TUSB7320 - How to confirm PCIe link status

Hi Team,

Our customer have problem that TUSB7320 cannot be recognized in Windows 8 environment.

It seems PCIe is not linked up. We have 2 questions.

[Q1]
How can you confirm the link status for PCIe port ?

I've found Link Status Register in the datasheet page 49.
However, most of the bits are said "No function".

[Q2]
Is there any registers which shows link status, that can be accessed via I2C ?

I believe it can be only accessed via PCI.

Hi Kawai,

You must read PCIe regs to determine port status. See PORTSC register in xHCI spec.

No, you cannot read PCI regs via I2C.
