Can you use the same voltage for VREF1 and VREF2?
If you are trying to use the same voltage at VREF1 and VREF2 it is not helpful to use the PCA9306. The PCA9306 is a voltage translator ONLY.
Please see description of operation in this post for some extra details.
I recommend using the TCA9517 if you are searching for an I2C buffer that can separate A- and B- side capacitance.
Hello Brian,
Thank you for your reply.
I examine it with a device for vehicle installation.
TCA9517 is not Q1.
Can TXS0104-Q1 use VccA and VccB with the same voltage?
Yes, the TXS0104E-Q1 can be used with VCCA and VCCB at the same voltage, but this product is also not a strong buffer like the TCA9517. It has a "one-shot" for quick rise time but weak drive strength after the one-shot is done driving.
There will also be a release of a TXS0102-Q1 soon that will work for I2C signals, but I am still not clear if it is good for your application.
