DS90UB913/914 - HEX file for SPA Dongle

Hi Team,

I have DS90UB914EVM and SPA Dongle which I was using for DS110DF410.

When using with DS90UB913/914, do you need to reprogram the data for SPA Dongle ?

If you do, could you please tell me where you can get the correct HEX file for it ?

I have posted similar question in the following link. (HEX file for LMH0387)

The dongle is programmed in two steps - first is the basic code for the dongle, which involves the FLIP program and the hex file, which you probably do not need, and the second is a short sequence which identifies which part you are using to the ALP program.

If you plug the dongle into your computer and start the ALP program, and it comes up showing the DS110DF410 GUI, then all you need to do is to reprogram the identification sequence to do this, start ALP, and on the left hand side you will a section for 'tools' - expand this, and select the EEPROM Setup option.

When this opens, on the leftmost pane, you should see something that says 'Select Device', and under that it should have found the 'ALP NANO' and under that, you will see your board identified (as the DS110DF410)  - select this.

In the next pane, 'Select Profile' select the profile for the DS90UB914, and then click 'Write EEPROM' and this will reconfigure the SPA Dongle for you.
