DS90CF383 LVDS color bit mapping 24 bit LDI to 24 bit VESA

There are two 24-bit color mapping formats, LDI and VESA. Our PCB is designed for LDI. Does a variant of the DS90CF383B exists that remaps TxIN[28..1] so that this conversion occurs in the serializer? For example one PWA that uses LVDS in the LDI color mapping format would be populated with DS90CF383B and another PWA that uses LVDS VESA color mapping format would be populated with DS90CF???.

Such a part would pin-out like column 2. At the bottom of the table a list of LDI>VESA is listed.

  • Hi Michael,

    I don't believe any of our generation I products have a map select feature to allow for switching between formats.

    Some of our generation II products have the ability to do change the LVDS mapping to support LSBs or MSB on LVDS channel 3.

    For example:
