Dear all.
Our customer will use LMH0041 with cascade connection.
Pls. see attached file.
In this case, is there no problem of jitter?
Is Gitta resolve by each block?
Does only delay occur?

Your answer are;
In this case, is there no problem of jitter?
>>Yes
Is Gitta resolve by each block?
>>Yes
Does only delay occur?
>>Yes
Is it correct?
Thanks and Regards,
PAN-M
You are correct.
The LMH0041 has a reclocker in it's receiver which will remove accumulated jitter, and many links can be cascaded. The reclocking takes place in the serial domain, before the data is deserialized, and as a result the delay is minimal. This is the purpose of the 'loopthrough' output.

Hi Pan,
I am not aware of any customer using LMH0041 and cascading it 77 times. So i cannot say 100% this will work. We have cascaded 32 ports of our relockers but not at 77 ports. Also, guaranteeing this over different patterns has not been done.
