DS90CF366 - Flatlink LVDS Receiver

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90CF366, DS90C363, DS90CR218A, DS90CR217

I am working on a new design requiring an 18 bit lvds Link to a 3.5" LCD display.

I am currently using a DS90C363 transmitter(used by evaluation board) and a DS90CF366 reciever.

My problem is that the DS90CF366 can only provide a falling edge strobe and I need a rising edge strobe for the LCD display.

I can invert the strobe, which does work.

Is there a better/newer chipset that can provide a rising edge strobe output?

  • Hi Jamie,

The parts you are using are FPD-Link, where the receiver is designed to strobe on the falling edge.

There is an equivalent Channel LInk part where the receiver strobes on the rising edge. Please take a look at the DS90CR217 (Serializer) and DS90CR218A (Deserializer) SerDes pair.

    Thanks,

    Michael
