[ DS90UB928 ] Output Status of GPIO and TxCLKOUT/TxOUT[3:0]

Hi,

Would it be possible to control the output status of GPIO and TxCLKOUT/TxOUT[3:0] independently?

From a table in the datasheet, that should be controlled together.

The TFT, my customer is going to use, may require pre-control with GPIO signal from UB928, before data and clock are coming in, this means,

GPIO: Valid

TxCLKOUT/TxOUT[3:0]: either Z or L

Any options to enable this?

Also, can you please let me know the TONS for DS90UB928?

I cannot find out it from datasheet, while it's specified as 50nS for DS90UB926.

Hi Ken,

The GPIO's cannot be enabled separately from the LVDS outputs.

The output enable delay has a different name in the 928 datasheet - tTXZR. This spec is 6ns typical.

Thank you for your support, it's great help.

With regards to GPIO, then customer needs to find a way to control TFT separately.

I will consult with customer and come back to you, if necessary.

As for the delays, my understanding was

* t_TXZR is for TxCLKOUT and TxOUT[3:0]

* t_ONS is for GPIO and I2S

Now I understood thta both delays are specified same 6nS.
