Can we make TUSB2077 as a Downstreem charging with out USB Host .?

Right now iam using 6MHz external crystal.If i use 48MHZ Oscillator clock?what willbe the difference in function?

    Hello,

    No, you can't use the TUSB2077 in this way. However, if you are interested on the implementation of USB dedicated charging ports (DCP), please review the TPS2511, which is a USB Dedicated Charging Port Controller and Current Limiting Power Switch.

    Also you can take a look on the Battery charging spec, for more information regarding the USB compliant battery charging modes.

    There are no differences. Although, if low-power suspend and resume are desired, a passive 6MHz crystal or resonator must be used.
