Hi Team,

Could you please tell me about PCI register programming of TUSB7320 ?

Our customer is using a tool which can access PCI registers through Windows8 embedded.

Here are the questions.

[Q1] How to set Port2 voltage swing and De-Emnpasis.

I believe you could set Port2 swing and DE at PCI register offset address E5h which is bit [15:8] (datasheet page 62, Table 4-101, 4-102).
If you want to set to 853mV, -3.28dB, I think you would write  PCI Address E5h Bit[15:8] = 1010 0111b.

Is my understanding correct ?
Do you also need to set the override bit in PCI register offset : ECh to EFh ?

[Q2] Custom PHY Transmit/Receive Control Register

What is the voltage swing and De-Emphasis level for default register setting ?
Regarding "De-Emphasis and Swing control Regsiter", is it 2.7mV, 0dB ?

[Q3] Voltage swing for LFPS

Would LFPS voltage swing have the same value which is set to the "Portx_Swing" setting ?

Our customer is using default register value, however they have packet losses in their application when copying the data to USB devices.
Could you give us the recommendation for the register setting ?
I appreciate if you could give us the register damp information of the recommended value.

    [Q1], Yes the value for the register E5h Bit[15:8] should  be 1010 0111b. and you also require to set the override bits in ECh register. 

    [Q2] Yes the register default value is 2.7mV, 0dB. 

    [Q3] the LFPS and the Swig a re independent value, the LFPS behavior follows the next table.
