Hello, I am trying to use the PCA9306 to translate from 1.8V to 5V and seem to run into an issue. Here are the details along with the schematic
1. Before enabling the device I can read 1.8V on the Vref pin.
2. After enabling the device with 5V on Pin 8 (through the 2.2K resistor), the voltage on Pin 1 changes to around 2.9V-3.0V.
3. Pins 3 & 4 are also pulled up to 3.7V upon enabling the device. Any ideas why I may be seeing this behavior?
From the Typical Application Circuit, Figure 2 on page 7 of the datasheet:
Both EN and VREF2 need to be tied to VCC2 through a 200kOhm resistor.
In your application, VCC2 is labeled "+5V".
