I'm evaluating DS100DF410. I already finished making hardware and software.

But I don't use DFE function.

Can I replace from DS100DF410 to DS100RT410 ? No need to change hardware and software ?

Hi Koji San,

Yes. DS100DF410 is pin-to-pin compatible to DS100RT410.

On software, there is some register programming in order to use the DFE feature.

I understood that DS100DF410 is pin-to-pin compatible to DS100RT410.

For this project, we don't use DFE feature, therefore we can use the register which already made by DS100DF410 if I replace to DS100RT410 ? my understand is correct ?

If there are some check point about register, could you please teach me.

I would like to reuse this register of DS100DF410 to DS100RT410, if it is OK. DFE feature is no need.

Hi Koji,

Yes, the register set is the same between the DS100DF410 and the DS100RT410. The DFE control registers will not be available/functional in the DS100RT410, but as you said, you will not be using the DFE, so this does not matter.
