Hey Team,

my customer is asking for something like a technical Referenzmanual to Programm the TUSB9261 with all the Registers etc.
I havent seen something like that on ESP. Can you provide something?

    Hi Sebastian,

    What exactly do you mean by programming registers? The TUSB9261 is a firmware based device, so basically the only thing you can program to the device is firmware. We provide a tool for doing this (TUSB9261 Flash Burner). There is also a User's manual for the tool (TUSB9260 Flash Burner - User Guide (Rev. D)) which explains everything about how to use the tool, so basically that is all you may need.

    Hey Alexis,

    The customer wants to know all the Registers of the TUSB9261.

    So it would be good to have a Datasheet or Manual with all of them if we have something like that.

    Register definitions etc

    Hello Sebastian,

    Sorry for my delayed response. The main purpose of the TUSB9261 is to be a USB3.0 to SATA bridge. As I mentioned before, the TUSB9261 is a firmware based device, so basically all internal registers of the device are accessed via firmware only. Since the firmware is provided by TI, basically there are no registers that can be modified by customers. Mainly, the only thing that could be modified by the customer is some of the USB descriptors of the device and this can be done via the TUSB926x Flash Burner tool (user's guide contains the info on how to do this).
