Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLK105, TLK110

Hello,

Could you please let me know the reducing power comsumption method of TLK105?
Our customer would like to reduce the heat dissipation.

I think that we can use Power Save Mode for achieving it.
If you has other idea , please let me know.

They can't change the board layout due to their production schedule.

  • HI,

For reducing power consumption, two approaches can be taken:
    1. Using Dual Supplies mode - supply 1.55V to the PFBIN1 and PFBIN2 will reduce about 80mW.
    2. For short cables, "Power Back Off" can be used, saving up to 50mW. The app note for TLK110 is relevant to TLK105 as well:

Can you please elaborate on the board layout issue?
We can switch to emails transaction if private-discussion is preferred.

    Thanks,
    Noam

I will get back to you when I got it.
    Best Regards,
