Setup TUSB3410 as COM Port on Windows 8

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB3410, MSP-FET

Hi

I'am using Windows 8 and I want to communicate over a tusb3410 with a msp430. On Windows 8 I am using hterm to communicate over COM interfaces.

So I have problems to install the driver properly. I tried to install the driver 6.7.1 from this post: http://e2e.ti.com/support/interface/digital_interface/f/130/t/226385.aspx and also tried to install the driver version 6.7.2 from http://www.ti.com/product/TUSB3410/toolssoftware

After the installation Windows do not recognize the device... I think because the VID is 0 and PID is 2...
So I actualize the driver manually ... this looks actually like it works, but after connecting my device it appears an error: (computer set up in German)

So it appears a warning sign and in the properties there is mentioned an Error with Code 43.

Does anybody knows how to install the driver properly? It looks like many people struggle with this.

Is it wright that it is not possible to use VCP or EEPROM Burner on windows 8?
