Hi,
my customer want to use TLK1501 in LED Wall to save cable cost. but theirs clk just 20.8Mhz.
per TLK1501 datasheet, min clk: 600mbps/20bit=30Mhz > 20.8Mhz.
So TLK1501 cannot support 20.8Mhz Pclk. right?
regards,
jeff

Hi Jeff,
20.8MHz is below our minimum GTX clock frequency so I so not recommend using the part in this manner as its behavior can be non deterministic. Have you looked into the SN65LVDS301/302/303/304/305 parts yet? These parts are aimed more at video application as they support pixel clock frequencies.
Hi Jeff,
In addition to the parts Mike mentioned, you may want to also take a look at the SN65LV1023A (serializer) and SN65LV1224B (deserializer) pair. These can handle the lower parallel clock rate and have a single differential serial interface that is more similar to TLK1501 (instead of using FlatLink/subLVDS).
Best regards,
