For the TUSB2077A, where can I find information/documentation/description on the device registers, settings and how to access them? For example, how do you disable one of the seven downstream ports?
Thanks,
Brian

Hello Brian,
The TUSB2077A has no such feature. Take a look at the TUSB8040A1. It supports up to four downstream ports and may be configured to report one to four downstream ports by pin selection or by an attached EEPROM or SMBus controller.
Regards.
Thanks Joel, appreciate the quick response. So, I assume the TUSB2077A has no configuration register settings, correct? Rather, there are pin/terminal settings for these items, please confirm I am correct:
BUSPWR selects either the bus-powered or self-powered mode
EXTMEM enables or disables the optional EEPROM interface. No external memory uses default generic vendor and product IDs (VID and PID) or using external memory allows user to define VID and PID.
MODE pin selects between 6-MHz or 48-MHz clock source
Thanks,
Brian
