TPS22965-Q1 has a configurable rise time so that inrush current through Vout can be limited. Since, SN6501-Q1 doesn't have a Soft-start, is it possible to use the load switch just before SN6501-Q1 and force it to controlled start ?

Tapajit,
I've moved your post to the industrial interface forum for better support.
Tapajit,
while we have not tried to power-up the SN6501 via a load switch, I think Your idea of "utilizing the configurable rise-time of the TPS22965 as a soft start feature for the SN6501" is brilliant.
We will be testing this circuit, but due to vacation time, it will take some time to get results which we can send to you.
Best regards, Thomas
Thank you I would really like to see some test results. Can you let me know where will the results be put up so that I can check later if results were put up.

Tapajit,
usually we document the circuitry and test set-up in an application note such as "Soft-start circuit for SN6501" and publish it on TI.com as well as here as a blog post and n the files section of this forum. I will check with the application team when this task can be scheduled.
Best regards, Thomas
Hi Tapajit,
Thomas and another engineer on the team took the following results that I wanted to make sure you were aware of. He is out of the office for two weeks, so I am sending the link on to you.
