UB925/UB928 spread spectrum

Delphi is using the UB928 and UB925 and would like to use the spread spectrum.  Is there a way to do that since it looks like the UB925 supports SSCG but UB928 does not?

Thanks,

  • Hi Mike,

The 925 can accept a spread spectrum input (SSC), but it does not generate spread spectrum (SSCG). The 926 has SSCG, and typically you would either have one or the other - SSC input to the 925, or SSCG output from the 926.

The 927/928 don't have these features, since they are not needed. LVDS signals have better EMI performance than LVCMOS.

If they have a SSC input to the 925 paired with a 928, then everything will track and it will work.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,
    Jason
