Hi,

I am interfacing the TCA9539 I2C based I/O Expander with LM4F120 and TM4C123 MCU. I would appreciate if you could share sample code using Stellarisware I2C APi to configure and use the I/O Expander.

    Hi Hermant,

         There are I2C codes at the examples folder of Tivaware that you can review. If you have problem with your I2C code for Tiva Microcontroller, post your question at Tiva ARM Forum.

    Hi Kel,

    Thanks for the response. We have reviewed and used the I2C code in Stellarisware and Tivaware. However, we have challenges in using the TCA9539 with I2C master to configure and use the I/O ports. The I/O expander EVM has code for MSP430. We would appreciate similar examples for Cortex-M4F MCU.

    There is none at Tivaware. But, if you have any problems coding I2C for Tiva, just post it at Tiva forum. There are lots of posts there who encounter problem with I2C and eventually got helped out by a TI engineer.
