Hi Team,

I believe HDMI v1.4 would support 4Kx2K video and HDMI v1.3a does not.

However, DS34RT5110 has the maximu datarate of 3.4Gbps x3 = 10.2Gbps, the datarate which could support 4Kx2K video.

Our customer is considering to use this device for signal conditioning, but is it possible to use this device for 4Kx2K video signal conditioning ?

This device only supports HDMI v1.3a. Can the device also support v1.4 electrical characteristics when used in 4Kx2K application ?

HDMI 1.4 has max clock rate of 340MHz, as HDMI 1.3a.

When you said signal conditioning, assume you mean using the device as an equalizer. Yes. You can bypass CDR and use DS34RT5110 as an equalizer supporting up to 3.4Gb/s on data.
