Hi,

We would like to generate 148.5MHz clock without I2C interface.

If we place 27MHz XO or TCXO for XOin+ pin as shown in the figure below, Could LMH1983 output 148.5MHz clock after only powered up ?

    Hi Kato-san,

    I have spoken with Nasser-san about this, and the default behavior of the PLL2 is to output 148.5 MHz, since by default, Reg 0x05[1] = 1. As long as a valid 27 MHz signal is provided at the XOin+ pins to allow the internal VCO to genlock, CLKout2 will produce this 148.5 MHz without any register writes.
