Hello TI,

What is the correct way of software strapping the TLK110? There is a flowchart in SLLS901D at page 14. but the method is not clear exactly for me.

Should I do two separate writes to SWSCR1, first with Config Done bit=0, and then a second write, with the same value, except Config done bit=1, or I can do it in one step? (Set SWSCR2, SWSCR3, then single write to SWSCR1 with Config Done bit=1.)

Hi Attila,

The correct way to use software strapping for the TLK110 is as follows:

1. Tie /SW_STRAP pin to ground

2. Run power-up/hw reset

3. Write to Software Strapping control registers (SWSCR1, SWSCR2, SWSCR3)

4. Once you are done setting all the desired Software control registers, then set bit[15] = 1 for SWSCR1 to latch the desired configurations.

These values will remain unless you apply a new power-up/hw reset. Soft reset will not clear the configuration.
