For 12Gbps SAS application of HS3SS3412, please let me know 2-point below.

・Input is 1.8Vdc.

Can HD3SS3412 drive to attenuation of a frequency response with no problem?

（Is external AC coupling necessary?)

・Does HD3SS3412 have DC offset?

(There is a place nop coupling capacitor in output side of HD3SS3412)

If you have application note, please let me know.

Hello Satoshi-san,

Yes it needs the AC caps, We recommend the 0402 capacitors to provide AC coupling, and the 0603 size capacitors will also work. The 0805 size capacitors and C-packs should be avoided. A capacitor value of 0.1uF is best and the value should be match for the +/-signal pair. The placement should be along the TX pairs on the system board, which are usually routed on the top layer of the board.
