Hi

She is requesting mux for two path as below.


However, the blue and magenta path will not be driven simultaneously.

I recommanded product of DS25MB100.

If you have a better solution, please recommend.

    I believe that you are showing the MUX as operating on the parallel side of the data path, in which case you would need 11 or 13 pieces of the DS25MB100, which would be a rather expensive solution. In addition, the 'MB100 is intended for CML level signals, and the parallel databus on the '913A and '914A is LVTTL since it is only 100MHz.
    Depending upon what your customer is trying to do, one option would be to enable the CMLOUT function of the '914 on the side with the Cypress FX3, and then use something like the 'MB100 to mux between the CMLOUT and the DS90UB913A output for the channel going back to the left. DOing this however would disable the backchannel communication between the DES on the left and the SER on the right, so all control communications between the two sides would have to be handled by the Ser on the left and the DES on the right.
