TUSB8041 / Powering from VBUS connected upstream port

Hi All,

Our customer has evaluated TUSB8041 and considering to power from VBUS which is connected to upstream port as attached. And also they are considering to provide power TUSB9261 also at downstream port. Can you recommend such configuration? Please provide reference schematic for this configuration if you can recommend.

    Hello,

    We don't have a reference schematic for the exact above configuration, we have reference schematics for the TUSB8041 and TUSB9261 tough.

    The above configuration will not work with VBUS, they will have to use external power, depending on their configuration they will require external power only in one of the devices or maybe for both of them.

    Please post an email and I can share the reference schematics.
