can we increase the length of optical fiber cable after 10km but without using repeater .....

    Jivan,

    This forum is for specific questions about TI products. However, signals can be transmitted over fiber longer than 10km without a repeater. It depends on the data rate, type of transmitter (FP laser, DFB, laser, EML), type of receiver (PIN or APD) and desired link budget. In 10Gbps Ethernet, for example, there are standards for 300m, 10km, 40km and 80km.
