DP83640 PHY not responding

Hi,

I have a hardware with DP83640 PHY and following are the details:

  1. The DP83640 PHY is interfaced to LAN9215i (MAC) through MII mode.
  2. The LAN9215i has parallel interface to DSP (TMS320C6454).
  3. The LAN9215i configuration is completed. The device ID and other MAC registers configured properly.
  4. But, PHY configuration is not happening. I'm not able to read or write to any of the PHY registers. Also, the 100Mbps link gets established, 25MHz clock MII_TX and MII_RX clock outputs are available.

Kindly, let me know if there is any specific hardware strapping that needs to be taken care.
