USB SWIC impedance matching（TS3USB221)

Dear Sirs

There was the following question from my customer.

As a USB signal path, you will USB HOST IC → TS3USB221 → shielded wire (about 20cm) → of front board USB terminal.

When it is making board wiring,　he is routed decided to pattern width and pattern interval by performing impedance matching of 90Ω.

If you are using a USB SW IC, how you should impedance matching as a route?

Please tell me the impedance of the matching method.

    Hello,
    I am not sure I understand your question, but if your are trying to know what is the effect of the switch when you are matching the impedance of the whole channel then you should take into account the Figures 4 and 5 of the Datasheet.

    I'm sorry that I sent you the information was not enough.
    My customer are thinking of matching as described below.
    Does this way is no problem?
    Also do you know the other way?

    For example, (A) in the path of the Host IC → TS3USB221, when and (B) TS3USB221 → Front USB path,

    · (A) and the (B) I matched each 90Ω.
    · The ON resistance of the IC can be considered and matched with 87Ω and the (B) (A).
    · (A) is 87Ω, (B) are matched with 90Ω.
