Hi Team,

Please allow me ask about the timing requirement of the I2C devices, such as TCA9535.

There are I2C timing requirements and switching characteristics in the datasheet, however, I believe this is the tighter spec for 400kHz mode. If you used in 100kHz mode, these timing requirements are not met.

I am understanding that as long as the timing specification is meeting the I2C standard, the I2C device could operate normally even if the rise time or setup time is not meeting the datasheet spec, such the case used in 100kHz mode. Is my recognition correct ?
