I'm designing miniPCIe module with XIO2001 and it is basically works well.

By the way, I have a question regarding power source of XIO2001.

According to "miniPCIe Electrical Specification", the host may supply the +3.3V in suspend/sleep mode but +1.5V may be turned off.

I've designed using +3.3V and +1.5V of host supply. Thus in suspend/sleep mode, the XIO2001's core voltage is turned OFF.

XIO2001's datasheet show power sequence only turn ON/OFF all of +3.3V and 1.5V at the same time.

Is this situation safe for XIO2001 or should I change the supply circuit so that generate +1.5V from +3.3V ? I've connected VDD_33_AUX to +3.3V also.

Hello,
It is recommended to generate the 1.5V from the 3.3V source so when they come back the device can get a proper power-on reset.

I'd like to know if XIO2001 will be damaged or not when we supply +3.3V only to XIO2001 without +1.5V (turned off).

XIO2001 have an internal power on reset generator initiated by +1.5V (datasheet 8.3.1) and always the PERST# works when host boot.
Thus I think how to generate core supply will not affect the XIO2001 reset.
