I am trying to work on a project to make a HDMI - LVDS bridge referring to the document provided by ti: 
But in the datasheet of LVDS83A : 
on pg20 : figure 18, they have shown that there will be resistors connected from all the Di pins to Vcc. and in the slau325 document a direct connection is shown between the output of TFP401A AND LVDS83B.
I am confused about how exactly I am supposed to make the circuit.
