Hi Team,
Our customer would like to change the resistor value of TUSB8041EVM.
Therefore, they are looking for the programming tool of the resistor(GUI).
Could you please let us send if you have this tool?

Hi Jmmn-san,
Thank you for the information!
I’m understanding that you don’t have the GUI for TUSB8041 such as the USB interface adapter.
Is my understanding correct?
Our customer would like to use the I2C interface to change the device’s resistors.

Hi Jmmn-san,
I apologize for confusing you..
“resistor” is typo, so “register” is right.
We understood that we can change this register by I2C.
(please refer to the following figure)
However, must this use EEPROM to change this register?

They would like to change the u1u2Disable register from enable(0) to disable(1).
Could you please let us know if you have the simple method to change the this register?

Kanemaru
Hello Kanemaru-san,
Ok, I understand now. Yes, they will need to use EEPROM to set the U1U2Disable bit. The EEPROM can be programmed using the TI utility over USB. I will have another team member send the utility.
