Using the TUSB7340 device strictly in EHCI mode (not xHCI)

Hello,

The market space for a PCIe-to-USB Host Controller is very slim.  (PLX, Pericom, TI and Asix).

The TI USB7340 is an xHCI-only host controller.

Although it supports USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 devices as well as USB 3.0 ones, it requires an xHCI driver.

Can this device be operated in a strictly EHCI mode, and if so, is there an associated driver for this?
