Hi experts,

As I know, TUSB1310A is in fact a low level USB2.0/3.0 PHY layer controller. Maybe it sounds strange, but is it possible to develope 1 to 1 port hub, using two PHYs and FPGA ?

Hello,

Yes it is possible to build a USB3 HUB using the TUSB1310A, however a 1 to 1 port HUB seems to be an option only to increase the length of a USB3 cable. If so, then you can take into account the SN65LVPE512, which is a USB3 re-derive, .

You mentioned only USB3.0 mode. Am I right, that HUB application is also possible with ULPI USB2.0 mode too?

Hello,

Indeed, the SN65LVPE512 is for USB3 only. On the other hand, USB2 supports up to 5 meters cable. What would be the total cable length on your application?
