Hi Team,

Please allow me to ask two simple question about I2C communication and I2C Reset.

[Q1]
Is there any special requirement for I2C reset ? For example, you would need to input IDCK before ISEL/RST=Low.
I believe there is no requirement, just to control ISEL/RST pin.

[Q2]
I2C communication would only require SDA and SCL. However, in case please let me ask you if the device would also require IDCK, too.
I believe it would not need IDCK.

Hello,

[Q1] ISEL is asynchronous so it is not dependent on the IDCK. The only requirement is to reset the I2C interface after power-on, I mean, ISEL must be asserted after the power rails are stable.

[Q2] Only SDA and SCL are required for I2C communication but you also have to set the terminals A[3:1] to select the I2C address you want.
