MIPI CSI-2 to FPD-LIII

I see that there is a new part, the DS90UH940-QI which inputs a Flat Panel Display Link III serial data stream and outputs a MIPI CSI-2 data stream.

Are there any plans for a part that does the reverse?  A part that inputs MIPI CSI-2 from an image sensor and translates it into a Flat Panel Display Link III serial stream?

My system would look like the following:

Image sensor------MIPI CSI-2------>Serializer-------FPD-LIII------->Deserializer------Parallel video------>My image processor

I can do this now with a separate MIPI bridge IC between the sensor and serializer, but the combination consumes too much power for the application.

There may be other ways to do this using other serdes technologies but the ability of FPD-LIII to send i2C commands backwards on the same cable from the Deserializer to the Serializer is a very useful feature.

Thanks,
