Hello,
My instrument PCU board providing power to the TLK2711 board working at 1.3 Gbps is located at least 50 cm away from each other. My purpose is to avoid radiation out of my electronic assembly while keeping the interface performance in tact, In lieu of decoupling 0.01 uF capacitors suggested in the datasheet to be used with its Vdd, the lambda/20 rule places the supply return to chassis grounding location at about 1.25 cm away from the TLK2711. Has anyone experimented to determine the best location for the power supply return connection to ground for the TLK2711? Should it be a single point ground at the supply, at the TLK2711, or a hard connection at one end and an AC connection with a set of capacitors at the other end, or be a distributed connection with multiple hard ground connections?
Thanks
-Ali
