Hi All,

Please let me ask about the external flash memory that needs for TUSB9261.

I know that the Pm25LV512A is used as reference in typical application, then I'd like to know the requirement for external flash memory when our customer select their desired devices. I know that you recommend the memory size larger than 512Kbyte, then is there other requirement?

For example, can N25Q or MT25Q series from micron be recommended?

    Hello,

    These are the basic requirements for the flash:

    The bootloader uses a fixed frequency of 18.75 MHz.  The flash must use a word size of 8 bits and an address length of 24 bits. The program instruction must allow 256 bytes to be written in one operation.  The entire chip is erased by the bootloader prior to programming.  A minimum flash size of 512 kbits (64 k x 8) is recommended.

    Also, the flash must support the below op-codes.
