TUSB2046B, "USB HUB power exceeded" message

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB2046B

Hello guys,

Something goes wrong, and I have no clue what to do further.

Inserting 4 Gb pen drive in my TUSB2046B based hub I have the message "USB HUB power exceeded". Inserting TS-RDP8W cardreader get the same error message.

Connect another pen drive - it works well. Connect Gembird USB hub and then connect 4 Gb drive into Gembird hub - the miracle! It works.

So what hell is! Why some of devices works well, some cause error?

Schematic diagram is attached.

5 V bus doesn't drop below 4.8 V even two hubs are chained.

SUSPEND pin stays low when "power exceed" occurs and turns high just after drive is disconnected.

OS is Windows XP.
